Complimentary happy hour is a nice touch, really helps save on drinks. The room cleanliness could use improvement. Enjoyed the live music, but noise from the restaurants was noticeable late at night.

The happy hour drinks were fun by the pool. My room was outdated and had a musty smell.

The location is fantastic, just steps from the beach. Happy hour drinks were awesome, especially the cocktails. The hallways and rooms could use better cleaning though. The music from the nearby bar was pretty loud at night.

Great beach access and friendly staff. Wi-fi was spotty and the pool needed cleaning.

While I appreciated the excellent customer service provided by staff like Emerson and Alix, the cleanliness and amenities fell short. The rooftop pool was in need of maintenance, and housekeeping was inconsistent. The location is decent, but guests should be prepared for some inconveniences.

The location is unbeatable! So close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. I had a blast at the rooftop pool—such great vibes! The food at Taco Taco was absolutely delicious, too!
would recommend 😊❤️

It was a short walk away, and the kids enjoyed the lush green fields while my wife and I appreciated the serene surroundings. The proximity to such a lovely spot made our family stay even more memorable.
My wife says that the family-friendly activities could be improved.

The room had a decent layout but felt outdated, with worn carpets and dirty walls. Temperature control was inconsistent, and there was an unpleasant smell coming from the air conditioning, especially in the corridors. The bed was reasonably comfortable, but we encountered issues with cleanliness. A roach on the bed was particularly concerning. Amenities were lacking—only one roll of toilet paper and two towels, which required additional requests to the front desk. The refrigerator leaked, and the TV had limited channels. Customer service was excellent, with supportive staff like Katty and Marcelino stepping in to help.

During my stay, I was thrilled with how easily I could stroll to countless attractions like the Art Deco Historic District, just under 2 km away, and the beautiful Miami Beach Botanical Garden, which was only about 1.2 km from my hotel. I loved that there were so many great dining options nearby, like Dolce Italian and Rosetta Bakery, both within a short walk, making it perfect for a weekend explorer like me. The hotel had friendly staff and a relaxing rooftop pool, but I did notice that the room needed some maintenance attention.

Great location, great access with walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the beach, making it easy to explore everything this vibrant area has to offer.
No issues here.

The food was a highlight, exceptional in taste and presentation. the facility itself was disheartening. I found myself entering through a Mexican restaurant, awkwardly navigating around a DJ to access the elevators. The pool was not only out of service but filthy—overflowing with leaves and bugs. Staff interaction varied; while some were friendly and accommodating, the management was dismissive. I experienced a disturbing breach of privacy when a staff member entered my room uninvited. The room was cramped, dirty, and unkept. Extra towels were not provided despite issues with the A/C. Access to amenities and responsiveness from management needs significant improvement.

Great location close to the beach but expect noise and traffic from Collins Avenue. The staff were accommodating, though there were multiple room key issues, making check-in a hassle. Enjoyed the rooftop pool and decent amenities, but the smell in the hallways was off-putting. Rooms came with cute designs but carpets felt filthy, and the noise from staff entering without knocking was unsettling. Bedbugs and cleanliness seemed to be concerns, yet the on-site restaurants added convenience. It had promise, but cleanliness and security issues overshadowed the positives. Wouldn’t recommend it to someone I liked.

The place was filthy—bugs in my room, old stains on the sheets, and the bathroom was a nightmare. The staff seemed indifferent, and I never got a follow-up on missing items. Just awful!

Just a suitable option for a break on long journey in Miami Beach with outstanding value. Location is fantastic.

Check-in was smooth, and the staff tried to be helpful. The pool area offers a nice spot to chill, and the beach is just a hop away!
Unfortunately, the AC was broken for much of our stay.

The staff went out of their way to help us, especially Chris at the bar who made our nights. The rooftop pool is a gem, and the restaurants nearby made it easy to find great food.
It wasn't the cheapest option, but it was worth the price.

The location was fantastic for beach lovers, but the room was as spacious as my secret chocolate stash. The staff were friendly, but getting a decent cup of coffee was like finding a unicorn in Miami.
Had to vacate my room due to the building playing Tetris with the rats.

The rooftop pool was a cool hangout spot with a great view. Plus, the full, length mirror in the room was handy for outfit checks before hitting the town. And can't beat the location, close to restaurants and shops, making it easy to explore.
The room cleanliness was disappointing , found hair in the shower and dust on surfaces. The service charges for every order at the restaurant felt excessive, and the quality of the food and drinks didn't match the price.

Great vibes, awesome location. Quick walk to Miami Beach Golf Club for a round of put, put. Party animal approved!
Wish there were more late, night activities for us party animals, like a cool beach bonfire or a hip rooftop bar.

The hotel's convenient location next to the Convention center and just a block away from the beach was a major plus. The complimentary happy hour with affordable drinks and the rooftop pool were enjoyable amenities that added a fun touch to the stay.
On the downside, there were challenges with cleanliness and maintenance throughout the property. From unclean rooms with bugs and leftover food in the refrigerator to a lack of cleanliness in the pool area, it was clear that attention to detail was lacking.

Enjoyed the complimentary happy hour at Maxine bistro bar. The trendy vibe and live music made the stay fun. The central location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions and enjoying the rooftop relaxation area. a value with a vibe experience. Overall I'd recommend this hotel.

First off, the room had some issues that bothered me. The heating seemed a bit off, as it was too cold even when turned up. The air conditioning was just as wonky, not cooling the room properly. Plus, the mini, bar was lacking in options and overpriced. On the bright side, the sitting area in the room was cozy and perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The terrace offered a nice view, but the lack of proper garden furniture made it less inviting than I had hoped. The amenities in the bathroom were decent, with free toiletries provided. the dryer was not working properly, which was a bit frustrating. I did appreciate the small details, like the AM/FM alarm clock and the flat, screen TV. The parquet floor added a touch of elegance to the room. One thing that stood out was the welcome drink offered upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The tours/ticket assistance provided by the staff was also helpful in planning my days. I was disappointed by the happy hour experience. The selection was limited to just rum, and the bartender's attitude demanding tips was off, putting. my stay at the Catalina had its ups and downs. While there were some issues with the room and amenities, the cozy sitting area and helpful staff made it a somewhat enjoyable experience.

I had an amazing time at this Miami Beach hotel. The rooftop pool was my favorite spot to unwind, soak up the sun, and enjoy the stunning views. The staff was always friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's location was perfect, with great restaurants within walking distance and easy access to the beach. The rooms were comfortable and had all the amenities I needed. I had a fantastic experience.
Payment issue.

I chose the Catalina Hotel & Beach Club solely for its proximity to The Bass Museum of Arts, and I was pleasantly surprised by the delectable thick-cut applewood smoked bacon English muffins, served with three poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce at Maxine's Bistro & Bar.
Charged for pool lounge chairs.

we arrived at catalina hotel & beach club and found the location convenient for exploring the beach and main land. the hotel exuded a miami beach vibe and the staff was helpful in arranging activities like the everglades tour and parasailing. the free transportation nearby made it easy to get around the city and to and from the airport.
Nothing that i didnt like 😕
